Now we’ve seen everything.

Stockholm designers Mair/Wennel turn pen leaks, ketchup blobs, spilled Cabernet into Dirt Pattern Material, as featured in Design/Milk. As random-seeming stains are overlapped, they become what some call “a work of art.” We agree that art is always in the eye of the beholder, but we admit our decades of stain removal and cleaning cause us to squint at this trend. If you ever buy a garment with a Dirt Pattern, please let us know when you bring it in for cleaning. Please.
